Fred Timm

Co-Founder | CPA | Financial Planning Specialist

I co-founded Timm Financial with my son Luke to bring tax expertise directly into the financial planning process.

Too often, financial planning and tax planning are handled separately. By working together, Luke and I are able to coordinate investment decisions, retirement income strategies, and long-term planning with the tax implications in mind.

Our goal is simple: help clients make financial decisions that are both smart today and tax-efficient over time.

Career highlights

I have spent my career helping individuals, families, and business owners navigate the complexities of taxes and financial decisions.

As a Certified Public Accountant, I’ve worked with clients through changing tax laws, business growth, retirement transitions, and multigenerational wealth planning.

Over the years, one thing has remained consistent: the best outcomes happen when tax strategy and financial planning work together.

That philosophy ultimately led to the creation of Timm Financial, where Luke and I combine CPA-level tax insight with comprehensive financial planning to help clients make thoughtful long-term decisions.

Family First

Working alongside my son Luke at Timm Financial is one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

Problem Solver

Tax planning is often like solving a puzzle. I enjoy digging into complex situations and finding strategies that help clients improve their long-term financial outcomes.

Trusted Advisor

Many of my clients have worked with me for decades, often referring their children and family members as their financial lives evolve.

Long-Term Perspective

Taxes change every year, but the principles of good planning—discipline, patience, and thoughtful decision-making—remain the same.
